I’ve opened registrations HERE for the upcoming round of 3-in-90 workshops!
These sessions have become very popular and are my favorite classes to teach. Note: There’s a substantial discount if you register for ALL THREE workshops on or before Friday, February 7th.
All sessions run for 90 minutes from 1:00 - 2:30 Eastern Time U.S. and will be recorded. Everyone who registers will have lifetime access to the recording. (Some writers prefer to watch the recording and work through the prompts on their own time.)
Expect to leave each session with THREE new flash drafts. These workshops have resulted in many published and anthologized stories for the hundreds of students who have taken part!

Sat., March 8th "Freedom in Limits: Unlocking Creativity Through Constraints"
In this session, we’ll explore how writing within constraints can unleash your creativity. Using a series of carefully designed prompts that limit what you can do, you’ll discover how these boundaries paradoxically free your mind, forcing you to think outside the box and find new, innovative ways to tell your story. Expect to come away from this fun and fast-paced workshop with three exceptionally original drafts.
Sat., March 29th "Beyond the Ordinary: Exploring Unusual Points of View"
Join me for a deep-dive into the world of unconventional storytelling by exploring flash fiction that uses unique points of view. From inanimate objects to animals, abstract concepts to unreliable narrators, we’ll examine how shifting perspective can add layers of meaning, surprise, and depth to a story. Get ready to think—and write—outside the box!
Sat., May 17th "Elegance in Miniature: The Art of Beautiful Flash Fiction”
While flash is celebrated for its brevity and impact, we rarely pause to consider what makes the very short form truly beautiful. We’ll begin by discussing the concept of “beauty” in writing and analyze examples of some of the most stunning flash stories ever penned. Through thoughtful prompts, you’ll develop your own "eye for beauty," learning how to infuse elegance, emotion, and depth into your micros.
