Hi everyone! I'm very excited to announce my upcoming ALL NEW 3-in-90 generative workshop series! Workshops will run on Saturdays, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time U.S. May 11th, June 15th, and August 10th.
These 90 minute live sessions (on Webex, similar to Zoom) will have you writing to prompts aimed at breaking through writing blocks and innovating with the flash form. Expect to leave each session with three new flash drafts. These workshops have resulted in many published and anthologized stories for the hundreds of students who have taken part!

In this engaging, interactive three-part series we will begin with some fun and interesting activities and prompts that will prime our brains for creative expression. From these, we will put together “toolboxes” for story writing, equipping ourselves with our own unique word banks, vocabulary, images, characters, settings, even titles. In the final session we will draw on these tools to draft rich, resonant stories that might not otherwise be written had we not arrived at the page primed, prepared, energized, and inspired.
Though Ready! Set! Write! is designed as a three-part series, you may opt to take an individual workshop or two instead. All sessions will be recorded and everyone who registers will have lifetime access to the recording. Though the live sessions are lots of fun, some participants understandably prefer to watch the recording and work through the prompts on their own time.

Discovering Your Themes & Your Creative Turn-Ons: Exploration
Pre-writing exercises and prompts aimed at tapping into what makes you uniquely you: your obsessions and worldview, your creative aesthetic and motifs. What are you drawn to? What makes you want to write?

Readings, prompts, discussion. An interactive session designed to help us dig deeper, unearth our inimitable stories, creating drafts of surprising depth and beauty.

Boldly Going: Drafting with Confidence
Here, we’ll take everything we’ve learned from the previous two sessions, using these tools to hone and polish existing drafts as well as create new work. This session will include lots of sharing and discussion. Expect to emerge from this series with newfound excitement and confidence around writing the stories only YOU can write.

TERMS/CANCELLATION POLICY: Payment due upon registration. There is no refund for cancelled live "3 in 90" workshops, but recordings will be made available to all registrants.
