Hello Immersionists!

So much of creativity is about receptivity. We writers are at our best when we are tuned in to the waves of metaphor and story all around us. We just need to truly “see” what’s right before our eyes (or ears or noses, etc.), and find ways to creatively transform it into, well, gold.

Today, let’s make it our intention to be receptive to inspiration. Your task for today is to go find some random text and see and read it in a story seeking frame of mind.

I’ve come to LOVE odd bits of “found text” I see here and there and they always inspire me to write, if only a bit of prose poetry. Awhile back, I received some leggings from Amazon and there was a little note attached that said, “Remember, you are already beautiful.” Thank you, Amazon!
