Hi friends,

I hope your week is off to a great start. I’ve been thinking of the various paths we take to realizing our dreams. To the learning we need to do, especially in creative fields. My own path as a writer wasn’t typical. I didn’t begin writing in earnest until I was forty. I do not have an MFA. But I managed to learn the art and craft of fiction writing by taking my own path. I bet many of you have as well. So much of how I teach is a direct result of how I learned. It’s all through my workshops and these newsletters.
